My name is Aaron. Born and raised in Hawaii, I am currently a graduate student of Physics at Keio University. While Hawaii is most famous for its beautiful scenery and tropical climate, the thing I especially like about home is the laid back lifestyle. Tokyo, on the other hand, is a fast-paced metropolis with a seemingly endless number of places to go and things to do. I enjoy both Hawaii and Japan.
Regardless of where I am, I like to do things such as play guitar, hang out, and explore new things. I even savor the tasks of everyday living (cooking, cleaning, etc.).
In addition to my studies, I teach English at IHCWAY. Basically, IHCWAY distinguishes itself from the many other English Language companies in Tokyo by having a novel approach to English teaching, which consists of a casual, one-on-one learning experience and a curriculum tailored to each student’s needs. Although that one sentence description doesn’t sound especially distinguishing, please follow the links at the right of this page for more information.
I am TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified through the program at i-to-i.
Please feel free to send comments about anything you read in this blog or questions about IHCWAY.
And now a few comments for Japanese visitors:
